Welcome to Hobart City High School
Hobart City High School is a co-educational high school in the heart of Hobart, Tasmania’s capital city. We have 100 students enrolled across Years 7 to 12. Our special relationship with Elizabeth College is unique in Tasmania and gives our learners fully supported pathways to help them reach their full potential. We are also the proud custodians of 186 years of inherited tradition from our two campuses, Ogilvie and New Town, and their reputation for excellence in academic, sporting and cultural pursuits. Our vision is for our young people to be empowered to thrive academically, socially and emotionally, positively contributing to their communities and the world.
