Facilities

Hobart City High School has modern laboratories, music, performing arts, sporting and library facilities. From heritage listed architecture and buildings that honour our past, to modern facilities that offer leading edge technology, we are a school that inspires to put our students at the centre of all we do.

The Government has announced a budget investment of $21.6 million to further develop our facilities and Hobart City High School is currently in the middle of an exciting Master Planning process.

Our guiding principles that will underpin this process are:

• The spaces prioritise quality and use the best in environmentally sustainable design
• We value the safe secure and accessible spaces for students, families and staff
• We look for ways where the buildings and grounds are enjoyable places to learn
• We will ensure that we develop spaces that give rise to the best learning opportunities

There will be opportunity for the wider school community to give feedback and be involved in this Master Planning process in early 2022.
